Wrappers Delight
Years ago, Jon crafted a very special ring for me. It was made of the green Doublemint Gum sleeves. One night I walked into my silversmith class wearing this ring and the instructor commented on how much she liked it. Since she is a very talented artist who makes amazing jewelry and other small accessories, I was so flattered! (I later asked Jon to make her a ring as well, as a thank-you for her teaching efforts.)
These days, the only rings I wear were also given to me by Jon, but they're made of a different (shinier) material. So I'm thinking that, getting back to our roots, maybe I should pick up one of these adorable purses — made with candy wrappers!
