You may have heard by now that Tord Boontje designed a special tableware collection for Target this holiday season. Since Jon and I are planning to host a little holiday gathering, I picked up the large rectangular melamine platter the other day. And I've been debating whether or not to also buy the matching bundle of paper dinnerware:

But then I came across these beauties — Marimekko's Samovaari patterned plates at Crate&Barrel:

I hope people don't think it's tacky if we do decide to go with paper plates. These designs are just too pretty to pass up!
