Brian Barneclo
As soon as we stepped into NOPA on Saturday night, I was smitten with artist Brian Barneclo's work. His San Francisco neighborhood mural at the restaurant's entrance is fantastic. (Apparently, he lives just a couple doors down from Nopa.)
He's also done a room at the Hotel Des Arts, and some of his pieces are available at The Shooting Gallery. A more affordable way to purchase his work: He designed a collection of boxed chocolates for Recchiuti. (Psst ... So did another one of my local faves, Rex Ray.)
