Three Not of a Kind
Earlier today, I was reading the comments on an Angry Chicken post. It turns out that there are THREE different designs for the Tord Boontje paper garlands at Target. Deer, bunnies and swans. So I started thinking about the one I had opened at home.
Swans.
Since I — like many others — was having trouble hanging my garland, I decided to use a pair as a makeshift table runner for a small dinner gathering we're hosting this weekend. Tonight, I opened up a second package of garlands to lay it out on the table.
Bunnies.
Okaaay. I actually bought three garlands, so I figured no big deal. The third would be a match for either the swans or bunnies, right? Nope.
Deer.
What the heck? What are the odds that you pick up three packages of the garlands and you get three different designs?
