The Other New Year
In celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year (which happens this weekend), I wrote a story for the SF Chronicle about symbolism in Chinese decor.
The article actually ran in yesterday's paper, but I was reminded of it when I got a pair of lì xì (red envelopes) today from my parents.
