Not Your Grandmother's Lladro

I've never really been a fan of Lladro. The porcelain figurines always struck me as a bit granny. The kind of thing you'd find in a little ol' lady's curio, next to floral couches that are covered in plastic. But now that Jaime Hayon is serving as the company's new-ish Art Director, I decided to take another look. And, much to my surprise, I'm actually coveting a few Lladro pieces:

lladro1
white vase with handmade floral appliqué ($1,000 — ouch!)

lladro2
magic forest open necklace

lladro3
ram bottle stopper (that's my high school mascot!)

Haydon's own collection for Lladro, Re-Deco, doesn't seem to be available for purchase just yet.
