Branching Out
I came across this photo on the Ferm Living blog and immediately went over to their online shop to order the "Branch" wall sticker for our bedroom:

See, we live right along the San Andreas Fault, so hanging anything above our headboard makes me nervous. This is the perfect solution for adding a little visual interest, without the risk of anything falling on top of us if there's an earthquake.
Also found on the Ferm blog: A sneek peek at a couple of new (not yet available) designs!

Even though I've lived in California off/on for 30+ years, I'm not too familiar with the whole "northern" part. I've been to, Sac., Napa, Eureka and Carmel... Oh and the little town of San Juan Batista..? We ate at a little restaurant called the Fault Line Restaurant, and I remember it becuase they said it was build directly on the fault line (or I guess right near...) Ever heard of it, near by, not sure exactly where you are.
Either way, I'm loving the branches!!

Hi Jill! I've never been to SJB ... But the San Andreas is quite long (I didn't even realize!). You can see a map here:

I live in the Peninsula, between San Francisco and San Jose. Our town is right on top of the fault (which isn't that uncommon around here).

Those branches are gorgeous! Great find! We live on the fault too, just much higher up! We're at the top of the state at the "triple junction" three faults all meeting together-yikes!

The Branches just arrived today -- shipping was *so* fast! -- and hopefully, I'll be able to share a picture soon.

Are you still pleased with the feel of the branches in your bedroom? Feng Shui-wise, they would seem to be a good fit for a bedroom. I am almost ready to order them! I just discovered your website, very much enjoying it, learning a lot.
