this post reminded me... didn't you once write about finding imperial trellis fabric on a budget? could you share your source?

Yep - I did find an Imperial Trellis look-alike at Britex Fabrics in San Francisco. I think it's only available in one color (sort of a chartreuse), and it's not quite as nice as the real thing. But it was less than $20/yard.
