Stitchable Map Postcards
What a cool idea! This would be a neat gift for someone who has done a cross-country USA trip or backpacked around Europe. (Also: If you're giving the gift of travel to someone, I could see this as a neat way to convey future plans.)
These map postcards come with a needle and red thread so you can stitch the travel route on them. The Curiosity Shoppe carries three versions: USA, Europe and world map.

oh, what a great find! thanks for posting it. i drove cross country (from texas to new york) in august as part of a transatlantic move (to holland -- long story involving a dog & a cruise ship)... stitching up our route would be a sweet memento from our whirlwind trip!

this is SUCH a great idea for a card and I love that it comes with the stitching materials. I just ordered one to send to a long-distance friend. A great find!
