Rainy Weekend
We ended up spending half of the holiday weekend in Napa. But no, it wasn't some sort of romantic Valentine's getaway.* We actually participated in a Livestrong event at Twomey Cellars on Sunday — which was followed by standing for a loooong time in the very cold and unrelenting rain, waiting for some of the best cyclists in the world to ride by in the first stage of the Tour of California.
That's Jon's idea of fun. My idea of fun came next: A trip to the Barney's outlet, relaxing at The Carneros Inn with a hot beverage, and dinner at Farm. So everybody won.
* We're not exactly hearts-and-roses people. So our Valentine's Day started off with a trip to the dentist for both of us. And the day ended with watching Andy Roddick at the SAP Open.

I like your idea of fun much better than his. Except the Barney's outlet part. Outlets make me want to kill people.

emmajames - I know what you mean about outlets. The Barney's outlet in Napa is basically the only one I go to because it's pretty small, well-organized, and never too crowded. And of course, there are good deals to be had!
