Bathroom Stripes

I have been wanting to paint stripes in our master bathroom for a while now — I've got the paint can on standby — and seeing these photos yesterday in a D*S sneak peek may be the final motivation I need:

My only concern is that, initially, I was planning to only paint one wall with stripes. And then I thought it might be better to paint one section of the bathroom — the section with the double-sinks. But then the rest of the bathroom (commode, shower and tub area) would be stripe-less. Which might look really odd. Hmmm ...

Just make sure your walls, floors, vanities, etc. on that wall are level! If not, stripes will draw a lot of attention to the crookedness.

I don't think it would look weird to have one stripey wall. Although the way it continues on the second wall in the photo is half its charm. That was an awesome Sneak Peek.
