When Skaters Grow Up

This morning, I'm catching up on my usual online reads. Penelope Green had a fun article in yesterday's NYT about the San Francisco home of skateboarders Jay Shapiro and Claire Bigbie. I like it a lot.

They posted some of this on Desire to Inspire, and OH MY GOD. Love it. I especially love the Angles wallpaper. In fact I think I may need some.

it's a very cool place. you can see more photos at the architect's website - http://www.envelopead.com/proj_clipperstreet.html

A professional skater lives on our street too. But apparently his place is mostly furnished with milk crates. However, he's a very gracious host — offers screwdrivers to any guests.

Nick - So should I pitch a story to the Chron about him? I'm pretty sure they've never done an article on a place with milk crates.
