Wrap Closet
I'm finally going to do it. I'm going to have a Gift Wrap Room. We have a closet downstairs that is currently crammed with I don't even remember what anymore. Inspired by the Wrap Closet designed by Gale Melton for the SF Decorator Showcase (see below), I'm going to transform our little neglected space into a dedicated place for all things wrapping related.

(Apologies for the poor photo quality.)
I have already cleared out some of the items in the closet which basically means the office is even more of a mess right now and have taken all measurements. It's a funky space, but I'm ridiculously excited about the possibility of turning it into something cool and useful.

i remember reading some time ago that candy spelling had a whole room devoted to gift wrapping. she may not be my fave, but it still sounds pretty fabulous to me. :)

lily - She actually has THREE gift-wrapping rooms! There's one exclusively for wrapping Christmas and Easter presents. INSANE. You can see her smallest room in this slideshow:

Erik - Good eye! I just checked the Showcase catalog, and it says the light is from the Swedish Room. And sure enough, they have a barbwire chandelier!

It looks like the designer added the decorative pink and blue flowers.
