Secondhand Sunset

After Jess Chamberlain over at Sunset emailed me this morning, I was a little torn about whether or not to share this. Because I think the "Secondhand Sunset" booth at the upcoming Celebration Weekend is already going to be a crazy scene. And I don't need or want the extra competition.

But here goes: If you are in the Peninsula on Saturday or Sunday, this is not to be missed. Check out some of the cool stuff you can buy (including projects left over from the magazine) for ridiculously cheap (all proceeds will be donated to The Reuse People):

sunset candlesticks.jpg
Candlesticks - $2 each

sunset chair.jpg
Chair - $15

sunset messageboard.jpg
Messageboard - $10

sunset table.jpg
Table - $15

Nothing will be priced over $20. I'd better drive the big car to the Celebration.

Comments

Thanks for the information! Do you know if they will be restocking it for Sunday? I am volunteering there for the Children's Health Council on Sunday - I don't think that I will be able to make it on the first day.

Purnima - I'm not sure, but will try to find out tomorrow morning when I go.

I went, and was among the first people to enter the gates, but all of these items save the candlesticks were already sold. I wish it had been bigger, as it was a very, very popular booth! And there were definitely items over $20.

Carla - I probably got there soon after you and was so sad to see the little side table was already spoken for. Oh well.

And I agree; that booth needs more space. It was pretty hard to see all of the merch without bumping into people.
