Madeline Weinrib at Auto
I love Madeline Weinrib's rugs, but it's always frustrated me you could really only find her collection at ABC Carpet & Home. But now, Auto is selling some of her pieces online!
I just happen to need new rugs in the entry, kitchen and master closet.

It is good that they are affordable.
I love the fabrics- but they have a minimum order and they can be quite pricey...so this is great!

I love Weinrib rugs. I must go and check it out. This is a great tip. I hope they're not quite as expensive as on ABC though... (wishful thinking)

I'm a Madeline Weinrib junkie! There are a couple of pillows and a gray zigzag rug on ebay right now but they aren't cheap!
I've been very lucky finding good deals on them. I wish I would have made it to the sample sale she had in NY in 2008. They said that was the first time she'd done anything like that and they didn't expect her to do it again. If you're persistent and check ebay and Craig's List in NY (and find an honest seller), sometimes you'll see them. There's one up on CL NY for $300 right now that I've seen up there before for more.
They also have a warehouse in Brooklyn but I haven't even made it back east to the ABC store yet! ;)

AND Lotus Bleu on Hayes is opening a bigger store now and is going to CARRY HER RUGS! The cotten ones and they wil have samples of all of them. Cool!
