BTW, in anticipation of last week's showers in NYC and Philadelphia, I packed this rain jacket from Anthropologie:
I love it. And I don't know why there aren't more attractive, rain-proof jackets on the market! Trenches don't count—for me, a rain jacket needs to have a hood! (Bonus: This one also has good-sized pockets with snap closures, so I didn't have to worry about my phone or wallet falling out.)
